Kinvr has partnered with a VC-backed travel-tech startup to hire a Senior AI Engineer to join their rapidly expanding team.

The Role

In this role, you will take full ownership of the development, scaling, and maintenance of AI-powered products. Working closely with the Product, Growth, and Engineering teams, you will build MVPs, custom data pipelines, and continually refine AI models, ensuring they remain best-in-class. You’ll also play a key part in shaping the company's AI strategy and driving forward new innovations.

Monthly team meet-ups and collaboration sessions are a core part of the company’s culture, ensuring a balance between independent work and teamwork.

Your Skills and Experience

  • AI Expertise: Proven experience with machine learning models and AI product development, with a focus on building production-grade AI systems.

  • Frontend & Backend Development: Proficient in Python, TypeScript, and frameworks like LangChain. Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone and data pipelines (Airflow, AirByte).

  • AI Product Scaling: Ability to design, scale, and monitor AI pipelines and tools like RAG and agentic pipelines.

  • Data Pipeline Optimisation: Hands-on experience with building and optimising scalable data pipelines.

  • Prompt Engineering: Deep understanding of advanced prompting techniques, such as COT and emotional reasoning.

  • Collaborative Development: Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with product and engineering teams to deliver impact-driven solutions.
